Basketball

Our youth basketball program is available to young people from elementary school age to high school. Teams hold regular  practices, play in games and tournaments with other local Orthodox churches, and are led by qualified, dedicated and caring volunteer coaches. The teams have a great time and enjoy Orthodox fellowship.

A Message from St. Anthony G.O.B.L. Representative :

Dear players and parents,

The 2012 Greek Orthodox Basketball League (G.O.B.L.) season is upon us and we are anticipating another exciting season. Participation fee for this year’s season is $80.  The registration fee goes toward the general league fees, equipment, uniforms, gym rental, and referees.  Please make checks payable to St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church.

To be eligible to play, parents must be members of St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church.  The completed registration form along with the $80 league fee must be submitted to the Church Office, or to John Paziouros, the St. Anthony G.O.B.L. representative.

Please notify John Paziouros, with any questions you might have.  You may notify John through email or over the phone through the following contact information: ioannis.paziouros@yahoo.gr  or  (626) 497-2167.  Each participant and their parent/legal guardian must read and complete the application provided.  The Code of Conduct must be read and signed by the parent(s) and each participant.

Please note: In order to play in the league, the entire application must be completed and submitted for each player participating.

All applications must be received and league fees paid by February 19th, 2012.

Age Requirement – 12 to 19 years old – Your age is based on how old you are on January 15th, 2012.
